Crosscanonby Beach Clean

Help bid good riddance to bad rubbish at this long sandy beach within the Allonby Bay Marine Conservation Zone.  Crosscanonby has a Roman fort, Viking tombstones and Elizabethan saltpans but sadly too the mark of our own era – plastic pollution on the beach.  Make it history at this two-hour event and we’ll be back in the New Year to do it again.  Keep a beach clean in 2018!

Meet/park beside the minor road leading to Crosscanonby village from the B5300 coast road, signposted ‘Mile Fortlet 21′ one mile north of Maryport.
